For over 30 years, UFH has been an Austrian showpiece company in climate protection. Originally responsible for the recycling and processing of refrigeration appliances, UFH has seen continuous development. Today, we collect and treat end-of-life large appliances, small electrical appliances (incl. small IT and telecommunication equipment), display screen equipment, lamps, batteries, photovoltaic modules and, of course, refrigerator appliances.
UFH’s management board comprises experienced experts from the electrical and electronic equipment industry and related sectors. They help ensure that the interests of both industry and commerce are optimally reflected and represented within UFH.

Cooling appliances, refrigerators and freezers are recycled together with Remondis Electrorecycling GmbH in Kematen an der Ybbs, where we operate one of the most modern recycling plants for refrigerator appliances in Europe.
